They've fixed that, and I don't know of a recent issue that displays a Java thrown exception right off the top of my head.Thanks very much for that bit of info, cant say I have ever seen a error message in evony, i just get asked to debug lol, the odd memory leak is detected, and sometimes a bunch of lost data packets, Gotta say, runs better that i would expect any of my apps to run under the load I perceive they have. The old issue where you couldn't send 50k transporters without getting an error was one of those instances where a Java exception was thrown all the way back to the Flash client. There have been several instances where the client gets sent the full System.err contents and displays it in the client. Not sure what web/application/database server they're using, but the server-side code itself is Java. The server backend is Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE). So i don't see a need to go wild and open the floor to any environment, some of which are a bit harder to reverse engineer. I don t fathom they plan on changing there platform in a hurry. I say flash client and any server app, because we know evony client is flash, and we don't know there server. Remember Evony has there privacy to, im not going to breach evonys legal rights or this country's laws to prove a point, but you can feel free to setup a flash client and any server app you want with any security method you want with proof of ownership, and permission i will crack and replicate any communication you want. Im not sure how to make you understand that evony can't hide anything from a programmer the way evony works, the programmer "mimics" the client that's all he needs to do, he has the client at his disposal, so he has every bit of required data necessary to completely re write the client 100% if he really wanted to. To try and super simplify it, if evony can automate it, so can a programmer. I also know for a fact, if evony can program in a dynamic change, a "programmer" can receive the change exactly like an official client by mimicking the "official" data process, that is after all what a bot is, a program that mimics the client with additional features of automation. I also know it changes for a fact, regularity, i don't know. I know for a fact evony has an internal version, not the one we see. We are not talking about the Version you see when playing Evony, we are talking about the version behind the game The code that is working behind the game to be exact. Simply because ive never seen them say anything even remotly similar to that claim.īy creating a "firmware version" you can check to make sure EACH person using Evony has the most recent version. Id also love the official evony quote that pertains to this claim. They have left themselves a lot of room for a lot of different avenues of enforcement, and we cannot judge weather they do/don't follow thru on enforcement, we can only perceive the small amount we can see, more than one poster in this thread alone, quote punishments, all over the net there's posts about people getting different punishments for different things, we know a large amount of people had there accounts halved (Some incorrectly so, and evony fixed it) I don't recall the part were they stipulate banning for cheating, Only that they may. In the TOS didn't they say any form of cheating will cause your account to be banned? But now they're saying that they don't want to ban for cheating.or is botting not really cheating?
